Retrieving my site
-
I need to know if I can retrieve my site. I can’t find the Support chat. I cancelled my account because someone at GoDaddy told me they migrated my site over. Turns out, they didn’t. So now it looks like I may have lost my site and I’m freaking out.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there. Sorry about all the confusion. I’m going to add the modlook tag to the sidebar so the staff can assist you with this.

No one can help you unless or until your post the URL of the domain you refer to and all relevant details.
Expired means over, dead, done and finished. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/ We focus on not allowing domains to expire so others can purchase them when they are auctioned off and that’s why we have an auto renew feature. https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#auto-renew
Staff need your details to recover the domain.
1. What is the domain URL?
2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
4. When was the upgrade purchased?
5. When did the refund request and upgrade cancellation, or the domain expiration take place? -

Please request all relevant details prior to tagging threads for Staff. That will ensure that the bloggers requesting help do not experience needless delays due to back and forth requests for their details. In this case it appears that the blogger has experienced the loss of a domain. I used Google search and searched all their former threads and located the URL which is http://harlow-sage.com/
I used whois hosting this and found out that harlow-sage.com is hosted by GoDaddy.com.
I did a WHOIS search as well.

@thebud15
This going to sound harsh but I am multitasking from my business and as I have been doing this for over 10 years, I can respond to three times as many threads if I do not have to tailgate the threads you are responding to. Please consider taking a 1 hour break so I can have at it. -
Hi there,
Sorry – when I posted the initial question, I was in “panic mode.”
To be more clear of what happened:
– I own the domain http://www.harlow-sage.com via GoDaddy
– I created a WordPress Premium account and created my site through there, and connected my domain to it
– I then wanted to set up email to go along with my site. The individual at GoDaddy told me he would migrate my site from WordPress over to GD and that I could then cancel my subscription with WordPress
– Not sure how, but he did it incorrectly. Now I’ve deleted my WordPress site and it’s not actually migrated over to GD. So basically I’ve lost my website.1. What is the domain URL?
http://www.harlow-sage.com
2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
http://www.harlowsage.wordpress.com (which still appears to be there) however I’ve lost the CSS codes that I had included.
3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
harlowsagecommunications
4. When was the upgrade purchased?
Upgrade was purchased in February 2017
5. When did the refund request and upgrade cancellation, or the domain expiration take place?
Refund request and cancellation took place today. -
Thanks for providing your details here. Staff serve the earliest dated threads tagged for their attention first and work their way forward to the most recently tagged, as would be expected. Please be patient while waiting.

Hi there,
Do you want your site to be on WordPress.com, or using self-hosted WordPress with GoDaddy?
If you want your site to be here on WordPress.com, you still have it. You cancelled your plan, but you did not delete the site.
Any custom CSS you had were removed the moment you cancelled your Premium Plan, as custom CSS is a Premium feature. It looks like you’ve added some new CSS since purchasing a new plan, but also note that there is a revision history for custom CSS where you should be able to restore your old CSS:
https://harlowsage.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=editcss
Your original Premium Plan payment has been fully refunded.
