Are you referring to a different blog? The site grantmelton1.wordpress.com is up and running.
If you are referring to another site that you deleted, deleting a site permanently removes it – the WordPress.com address will never be available again. You can try to register a similar web address or purchase a custom domain like grantmelton1.com. Custom domains are available with Personal, Premium or Business plans.

No the site ok but I deleted some posts/blogs and wondered if I can restore them to the site. They are from May 2016

If you deleted posts from 2016, you won’t be able to restore those posts. You can restore deleted posts within 30 days from the time the item was trashed. After 30 days, the posts in trash will be automatically permanently deleted.
However, if your Privacy Settings (Settings -> Privacy) have been set to “Allow search engines to index this site” and the post/page has been published long enough for Google to index it, you might be able to recover a post or page using Google’s cache.

Another option is to search for older versions of your site on the Internet Archive Wayback Machine. I was able to find some older versions of your site that show posts from 2015 and 2016.
