Retrieving Original Domain Settings

Hi…
I am writing to ask how to obtain the original domain settings for the website: expectantfaith.com. The original developer passed away. I believe I own the website, and wantt to transfer the domain away from wordpress. What is necessary that I can do this. Thanks.

Are you sure that you can’t see that domain in your account via “Plans” “Domains”?
If not, who paid for the domain? Did the “original developer” have his own WordPress.com account when he set up the site? WordPress.com does have support regarding deceased users but I’m unsure if it is applicable in this instance.

Fstat…Every time I go to Domain Management, it says that I do not have the authorization to go further….blocked!! What must I do to get beyond this? Thanks.

Hi there,
I had a closer look at your site and found out that although you’re the owner of the domain expectantfaith.com you are only an Author to that site. To have more control over that site and manage the domain you need to be an administrator.
Right now the only one that can change your user role from Author to Administrator is chriskerstell. If you have the means to contact them please do so and have them follow these instructions:
