Retrieving saved auto drafts when a post has been deleted

  I wrote a very long post — it auto saved multiple times. I clicked preview post, and the entire post deleted. Now I can’t get it back.

  Surely you have an insanely large file somewhere in my account that saves all my auto drafts. I need this post back.

  Can you help????????????????!!!!!!!!!!

  Unfortunately, as far as our system is concerned, there was no content in the post. Did you copy the content from elsewhere or type it in the Visual editor here?

  I typed it in the visual editor :-( This is so bizarre. It auto saved a lot. Then I pressed “preview post” (it was finished and ready to be published), it opened up a new page as it always does, and there was nothing on that new page. Then I went back to the visual editor and everything was gone.

  Are you absolutely sure that you were typing into this post and not a different one?

  It seems rather odd that there’s nothing recorded for this, especially with the auto-saves.

  yeah — it was the strangest thing ever, oh well!

  i re-wrote what i could today.
