Returning to initial CSS modifications after reverting to original theme

    Hello,
I am currently using Spun theme, with CSS adjustments made to it, as well as other custom made changes. I want to switch to another theme.
I know that you can keep track of your CSS edits through Revisions and that CSS customizations are theme specific, however I have to ask: if I will want to come back to the the Spun theme aftwerwards, will all of my initial CSS and other custom changes will still be available? Or will I have to take each step from the beginning, in customizing it from scratch, using the history stored in Revisions?

Thank you in advance for your support!

  • Yes, you don’t lose any of your CSS despite switching themes.

All your CSS revisions across all the themes will be available in the CSS Stylesheet Editor Dashboard page at: https://jurnaldehoinar.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=editcss&show_all_rev=true

    To restore the CSS:
Change the theme to the one your wish to restore.
Click on the date and time of the revision
    Click on Restore This Revision
    Click on Save Stylesheet

You will be ready to go :)
