Returning to Standard Editor mode
-
When I try to edit a page in ‘standard editor’ all I see are block of code. How to I return to to the more user friendly editing mode?

Hi,
Wordpress decided to remove the standard or classic editor.
This article explains that.
https://wordpress.com/support/replacing-the-older-wordpress-com-editor-with-the-wordpress-block-editor/There is a Classic block that looks like the classic editor that you seem to be used to using and seeing. This will give you the information that should help you use the Classic block.

Hi there, which website is this happening on?
Even if your site has the WordPress block editor enabled by default, you shouldn’t be seeing
codein the Editor. If you are using the Classic Editor, is it possible you’ve accidentally clicked on the HTML tab rather than the Visual tab?

If that didn’t answer your question, please share a screenshot so we can see what you are seeing. https://wordpress.com/support/make-a-screenshot/
