reuse cancelled domain name
-
Hi there,
I deleted my domain name (petroneonetherocks.wordpress.com) a few weeks ago but need to get it back. It’s VERY important as my business depends on it. Is there any way to get it back? I deleted it assuming I could get it back as long as no one else signed up for that domain name. PLEASE HELP!Specifically, I’d like to pay so the ‘wordpress’ isn’t in the domain name so it’s just petroneontherocks.com.
Thanks,

petroneontherocks.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site.
Is there any way to get it back?
No, there isn’t: http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
I deleted it assuming I could get it back
The three warning messages and confirmation email explicitly stated that it doesn’t work that way.
“Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).” – https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/Specifically, I’d like to pay so the ‘wordpress’ isn’t in the domain name so it’s just petroneontherocks.com.
In that case you can register ANY available free URL and buy the Custom Domain upgrade. Only the custom domain will be visible online, so it doesn’t matter what the free address is. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/
BTW, you made a typo in the URL you gave above and petroneonetherocks.wordpress.com which differs with only one letter from your original is available to register.
