Reuse domain name

Happy new year!
I had a blog before (theairprince.wordpress.com) but I unfortunately deactivated it. I am planning to reuse the domain but WordPress prompts me that I can no longer use it and it suggests me to use paid domain.
Is this resolvable? Is there any way that I can use it again since I am the original author of that blog? Hoping for a shed of light. :)

The authors have deleted this site.
Gone is gone forever – you agreed to that several times when you deleted the name

You will need to change the name in some way or buy a custom domain name & map it to a blog here
