Reuse or reactivate a deleted .wordpress.com domain

  Yesterday, I deleted my wordpress site. Unfortunately I did not understand that the ***.wordpress.com domain I used is blocked now.
  Is there a possibility to reuse the domain for a new wordpress site. If not, is it possible to restore the domain into my account.

  unfortunately, no. Found a good response from another thread:

  It’s not possible. Deleted blog URLs here are not recycled. That’s why 3 warnings are given and why a verification link in an email that must be clicked is sent in order to accomplish deletion.

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain vis a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
