Reuse original WordPress URL

  Hi, I changed the original name of my WordPress site but now unable to reuse my old domain name. How can I reactivate the original address? Thanks, Michael

  Well… restore the old original WordPress -also.
  For people that prefer it.
  I blogged here during 15 years, everything good. Finished a few years ago.
  Now back to start a new one, but found only a big mess,
  A struggle more like a bad pc-game.
  I dont even feel to try to learn it, all this struggle is soo un-necessary.

  Admittedly I’m unsure of what @hizswe is talking about, but typically if you change your site address to something else, it’s not possible to use the previous name again on another site.

  However, I think it will help if you can clarify, what is the URL of the old domain? Can you let us know so we can take a closer look?
