Reuse username

Recently, I changed my username because I wanted to register my employee account and use my previous username. When I try to create an account, I get the following message: “Sorry, that username already exists! If this is you log in now.” but when I try to log in with that username, I get the message: “This account has been closed. If you believe your account was closed in error, please contact us.”
Is there a way to reuse my old username?

Deleted usernames cannot be re-used.
When the account was deleted, a confirmation email was sent to the email address on the account. If it’s still with 30 days, you can recover the account by replying to that email.

No, I didn’t delete my account. I only changed it’s username. I see than now I can’t even return to my previous username.

It’s banning / blocking, not deleting. It is sad to know that I have lost my previous username even on my private account with which (in my opinion) it should be associated with.
