    This morning I was charged with a reversal claim of $51.17 dollars for the website WordPress.com but I already canceled my subscription.

    Hi there!

    I just checked your account, and I see the following:

    1. Your WordPress.com Personal plan had auto-renewal enabled, so it was renewed last month.
    2. You canceled the renewal on the same day, and a refund was issued on our end.

    If you saw something on your account this morning, it might be the refund that was processed successfully.

    Can you check with your bank/card issuer to find out what it was? From our end, you are all set with the refund. You can see the refund receipt at https://wordpress.com/me/billing

    Thank you but I’m afraid I am unable to afford the subscription at the moment, however I do have one more question. I saw that on my account that I have a charge of $49 dollars for this one time support conversion; why I am I being charged and why can’t I cancel my account until this charge is canceled?

    Can you share the link to the page where you see that you are being charged for this support conversation? We don’t charge anything for support conversations, so I’m not sure where you see this. You weren’t charged for anything after February 2023, the last payment, which was also refunded to you on the same day.

    It was found under purchases I found it very strange to.

    Thanks for the link. What you’re referring to is the Quick Start support session, which we used to offer in the past. This payment was made two years ago, in March 2021. You can see the receipt for this payment here.

    So it wasn’t something you were charged today (or for your support conversation today). It’s an old payment.

    Thank you so much for the clarifying that, however I am still unable to cancel my account because it still says I have a payment on my account but I know that is not correct. Do you have any advice on what I should do to resolve this problem?

    To clarify, you are trying to close down your WordPress.com account @rosethornwars2020 but not able to due to a message that you have upgrades on the account?

    If so we can remove the (unused) Quick Start session that my colleague mentioned above, and then you will be able to proceed. Thanks for confirming.
