Reverse A Redirected Link
-
Hello!
I was fixing orphaned content yesterday and managed to redirect a link to a different post, and can’t figure out how to reverse it and undo that.
If you could tell me how, or redirect it back yourself that would be great!
The post is “The Stories Behind Your Favorite Instagram Posts From 2020” and it redirects to “The Ultimate Winter Getaway at Lake Tahoe.”
WP.com: Unknown
Jetpack: Yes
Correct account: UnknownThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That might be the “type” of redirect you are using. A plugin is a software that helps with some functionality, You usually need a plugin to do this. Do you remember the steps you took? Can you do it again?

Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
Are you able to confirm the URL of the website that you need assistance with please?

Hi! Yes, here’s the link:
^^ this is the page that comes up after pressing on what should be “The Stories Behind Your Favorite Instagram Posts of 2020.”

Ok, that is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we can’t help with here.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
With that said, a good approach would be to retrace your steps in how added the redirect in the first place (was it plugin, was it via .htaccess, was it via your hosting account’s control panel, etc?) and you should be able to remove it from there.
