Reverse a referrer spam click
-
I’ve searched the forums and I found where it says it can’t be done unless you immediately click undo.
Well the problem is I was using the iPad app to review my stats and the ‘undo’ link never appeared. Now the referrer that drove the most action to my site is considered spam. This cannot stay as is. There are multiple links from this referrer that I need to review to determine which part of the referrer’s site is driving the most traffic to my blog.
I plead with the wordpress staff to investigate a way to revoke the spam click for my blog and allow the referrer to be seen as non-spam.
Thanks you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You’re welcome. I believe you will discover that clicking the spam link does nothing other than removing the display of the URL in your stats.

I understand that but as I said prior to being spam it was showing from what exact page the referral was coming from, something we’d like to continue to be able to see.
thanks again :)

At this time once a site has been marked as Spam in your referrers, it cannot be undone later. We are looking into making this option available in the future, but for now, please note that it is only a display issue, not an actual spamming of a site, since we cannot control which sites refer visitors to us.

Thanks for the confirmation – noted.

How do I stop this link from visiting my website, I understand that it is spam and may be distorting the number of views to my site
The spam is : http://semalt.semalt.com/crawler.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fafricanahgirl.comThank you

You can hide the referrer in your stats by hovering over it and clicking the “Spam?” link. If your site is public, you cannot prevent anyone from viewing it.
