Reverse order comments

  What is the status of getting the most recent comment on the top of a list of comments? It’s a very common feature in the blogs I post to. When someone comes to check on the most recent comment, it’s not likely he or she will scroll all the way to the bottom to get to a new comment. Please, please, let us know how to make this happen.

  Sorry, you can’t. But you can put the Recent Comments widget in your sidebar so that visitors will be able to click directly to the most recent comments.

  Only staff would know if they are even considering this as an option.

  If they did something like this, I would want it to be via a reverse order link within the blog page rather than something set in the admin. That way users can determine which order they want. As a visitor I don’t like being forced into reading comments in reverse order since comments in many cases are like conversations and it is much easier to read a conversation from top to bottom rather than having to scroll clear to the end and then scroll back up to read them in order.
