Reverse order of posts.

I’m certain this has been asked before but I can’t seem to find an answer to it.

I want to invert the posts I make so that they show up oldest first.

The functionality of WordPress is ideal for the site I’m using with one major exception, I need to be able to reverse the order of my posts so that the oldest posts are at the top. The reason for this is because the blog is an events guide and I need to have the closest events (but oldest posts) at the top and the distant events (but most recently announced) at the bottom.

Ideally if anyone can reccommend a nice handy plugin that does that I’d be delighted.

[P.S. – I don’t want to sound rude here, just preemptive; I’m not asking for any “blogs don’t work that way” or “use something else instead” comments – solutions only, please, not opinions]

First of all, do you have a wp.COM blog? If yes, you should give a link to it, and/or link your name to your blog as explained in the Sticky “8 Things to Know”. If not, you’re in the wrong forum (our answers won’t apply).

And among other differences, in a wp.COM blog you cannot add plugins.

Now the same Sticky urges you to search the FAQs and the forum first, because yes this has been asked before, lots of times – including just 13 hours ago:
