reverse site deletion
-
With ipage, I had a website setup under wordpress for http://www.faithevolved.com. All I did was remove the link (or something similar), and the whole website disappeared. I was simply trying to remove it from the domain name that had expired. I have since renewed the domain name and I’m trying to see if I can get the wordpress site back that was under it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,
http://www.faithevolved.com/ is not hosted on WordPress.com, and it’s completely impossible to delete that site from our end.
You had that site connected to your account via the Jetpack plugin, and all you did was remove that connection.
To reconnect it, log into WP-Admin and click on Jetpack in the menu. Follow the prompts there to reconnect.
I see the domain currently redirects to a Youtube channel. That’s something you’ll need to fix on your hosting provider’s end, as we have no control over your domain or what site it’s connected or redirecting to.

Thanks…. except that it is gone. I cannot find the wordpress blog anywhere. It does not show up in my list of sites anymore.
Going to faithevolved.wordpress.com says the site has been deleted by it’s owner, which I never did.

Hi there,
faithevolved.com and faithevolved.wordpress.com are two completely different sites. The former was hosted with iPage and the latter by us (WordPress.com).
Furthermore, faithevolved.wordpress.com was not owned by you, but by another account.
To restore your site please contact your hosting provider (iPage) and ask them If they have a backup of it.
Please understand that there’s nothing we can do as that site was never hosted on our platform.
