Hi There,
The site isn’t yet public. I just started creating it yesterday. Here’s the name:
Your Site ‹ Canadian Explorer Series — WordPress.com
I would like to restore the purchase I did, and keep the name.I deleted two sites yesterday. One which I made a mistake in creating (but had not paid for), and the one I actually started creating based on the purchase I made.
I should have deleted the extra one, but accidentally also deleted the second one (my mistake).Hope you can assist.
Thanks,
Paula

Hi there,
When I look at your account activity I see that you recently cancelled and refunded the following upgrades:
– WordPress.com Business Plan
– Domain registration forcanadianexplorerseries.com
– Domain registration forcanadianexplorerseries.caYour site itself is not deleted (it’s still at https://canadianexplorerseriesca.wordpress.com/) but were you trying to recover either (or both) of those domains? Do you plan to use them with your WordPress.com site started at canadianexplorerseriesca.wordpress.com or do you plan to use them with a site created on a different service.
Let us know how you would like to proceed or if you have any questions.

Hi Jerry,
That is correct. One was done by mistake (I was trying to delete the .com one, but it kept showing in the ‘home’ area. So, I thought I had to delete the next one too in order to remove the .com one (I thought I had linked them together). Apologies for my ignorance.
I am trying to recover this one –> canadianexplorerseries.ca. In other words, I want to reverse the deletion, and get it paid again. However, when I try to ‘upgrade’ it offers me a different domain, which I do not want. I want the domain “canadianexplorerseries.ca”
And, I want to use it with my WordPress.com site, which I started at canadianexplorerseriesca.wordpress.com
Can I have it back please? I would like to use the same plan as well (how do I reinstate the payment in a way that does not force me to create a new domain?)

Thanks for confirming the correct domain.
I checked the cart on your account, and it currently only has a Business Plan added, without any domain, so if you go to https://wordpress.com/checkout/canadianexplorerseriesca.wordpress.com#step2 and complete payment, it should add only the plan.
Let us know here once you’ve completed payment for the plan, and we can restore the domain for you.
Please open our own support request at https://wordpress.com/help/contact and include details on the specific site you need help with, and someone will help you there.

Hi there — just did. I followed the link, and made the payment.

Can I have my site back now? :)

Hello there,
I see the site is back up, and the business plan is activated one the site.
Are you looking to also restore the domains:
– canadianexplorerseries.ca
– canadianexplorerseries.comMany thanks.
-
Hey There!
I would like to have the following domain restored: canadianexplorerseries.ca
Thanks.
-
Thanks for confirming.
I have restored that domain and you can confirm it is under your account once again here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases
You should also see the URL is active again if you visit here: https://canadianexplorerseries.ca/
If you are signed in to your account, you will see the blank site, the starting point for your build out. If you are signed out of your account you will instead see a “coming soon” message as the site has not been launched yet.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
