Reversion to previous versions
-
This blog post https://wordpress.com/post/semperfidem2004.wordpress.com/20923 reverted to an older version on August 1. I never did that. There was a problem with WP that it kept telling you a more recent version of your post existed when you first opened it, having saved any changes the last time you made them. It was a glitch in WP. My suspicion is that depending on whether you said yes or no in response to that prompt you could get WP deciding to revert to an older version of your post. Is my assumption correct? How did the change on August 1 happen? Has this glitch been fixed?

Hi there,
Were you able to restore the post to its most recent version through the History? Also, are you using another computer or device to edit your posts?
Please answer those question so we can better troubleshoot your issue.

Hi apologies for late response. Been busy writing. I was able to restore. I am using PC windows 10. I tweeted wordpress about the problem again, recently. Here is the link to the thread https://twitter.com/KafkasCastle1/status/1065610519703429122
I think this is the re-emergence of your “another version of this post exists” bug.
Thanks
