To revert your site back to the Sela theme on WordPress.com, you must access your “classic” WP Admin dashboard because retired themes are hidden from the standard theme showcase. You can reach this specific menu by adding /wp-admin/themes.php to the end of your website URL, or by going to Appearance > Themes and searching for “Sela” directly in that backend interface. Once you find it, clicking “Activate” will restore the theme, though you may need to re-assign your menus and widgets, as these often disconnect when you switch to a different theme. It is important to note that WordPress.com officially states that once you switch away from a retired theme, you generally cannot switch back through the normal “Discover” tab, so using the direct WP Admin link is your best chance to recover it. If the theme does not appear in that search, you should contact WordPress.com Support (“Happiness Engineers”) immediately, as they can often manually reactivate a retired theme for you if it was previously used on your site.
