Revert to old theme

    Hi,

    I just changed the theme of my website, but I didn’t realize it would reset everything. All the pages and text are gone, and I have to start from scratch. Is there a way to revert it and get back my original website?

    Hi there, generally speaking, your content is still there, but you may need to reconfigure your site’s menu.

    If you remember which theme you were using on your WPcom site, you can reactivate it from your MY SITES>Design>Themes dashboard. If you don’t remember which theme, have a look at your site’s Tools>Activity dashboard and the theme you switched from should be listed there.

    If you don’t see your free theme listed in the MY SITES>Design>Themes it’s possible that the theme may have been retired. In that case, you would only be able to reactivate it from your site’s WP Admin>Appearance>Themes dashboard. You’ll find your WP Admin dashboard by adding /wp-admin/ to your site address.

    If you were using a Premium theme which has been retired, it won’t be possible to switch back to using it. If this is the case, please let us know.
