Revert to Old Version
-
I want to revert to old WordPress Editor. Older version was much simpler, better and faster. The new Blocks version is a big pain and takes awful lot of time to just upload one single post with images. Not good.

Sorry to hear it, @dhavalr! Here’s how you can get to the classic editor for now:

You mentioned it takes a while to upload the post with images — are you typing in the editor or uploading / copy&pasting it from something else? If you can clarify we may be able to help.

Hi there,
1. Cannot select multiple images from the Media Library (uploaded images)
You should be able to select multiple images in the media library:
2. Caption below images doesn’t appear as caption in grey abd italics but appears as regular text.
This is definitely due to your theme. Something Fishy is an old, deprecated theme that came out way before the block editor. The block editor uses a different type of HTML than the classic editor which is the reason for the misalignment. You will need to update to a newer theme to correct this issue.
3. Cannot crop images.
For information on cropping an image, please visit our support page here:

4. Instead of 1 click earlier, now I have to click 4 times to enter the Media Library
From where you visit WordPress.com, you should to get to the media library in one click still:
Hope this helps.
