Reverting back to a previous version (yesterday)
-
Hello, I recently was given Admin access to https://charter.yachtsalesinternational.com/wp-login.php
I made a mistake when I installed ASTRA plug-in… then I hit Activate…Then I went to plug-ins and clicked ‘See Library’… picked a theme I liked… and that’s where things started to go wrong. I wasn’t aware I was overwriting the site’s existing theme and going to go live with it.
I am wanting to turn back the version to the previous version (as of yesterday) to undo my changes and revert back to the old version of the site.
It looks like a lot of work was undone and we cannot find a way to undo the theme change.

Hey there, your site isn’t hosted here with us, but are you using Jetpack’s backup? That’s what we use here; and if you’re using it, you should be able to “rewind” the changes.
If you’re not using that, I’d recommend contacting your host for two things:
- You’ll want to get a backup restored, if they have one
- You’ll want to set up a staging site so you can make these kinds of edits without affecting the real site. Your host should be able to help with that.
Or you’d be welcome to stage the new site here. Here’s the difference between our services and the free WordPress software you’re currently using. Let us know if you have questions about our services!
