Reverting back to the original website address

    Hello, so a year ago I tried separating my website into two parts: renaming genrolecaspe.wordpress.com to genrolecaspenotes.wordpress.com AND creating another site with domain genrolecaspe.wordpress.com(same address as the original).

    I figured I should switch back to just one website. So I deleted genrolecaspe.wordpress.com(which barely has no data in it besides just basic info). I’m planning on renaming genrolecaspenotes.wordpress.com back to genrolecaspe.wordpress.com but an error saying ‘this site has already been used’.

    Whereas a year ago I was able to create a site with the same address by just renaming the original to another.

    Is this still possible? Or would I need technical assistance to do it?
