Reverting to 2014/2015 version.

    Hi there,
I’m a little lost after selecting numerous themes in order to update the look of my blog. However, I have also lost the ability to return to what I orignally had which I now prefer as it had a content list visible on the home page and worked well.
Are you able to help me revert to the theme of my 2014/2015 site?
    I would be most grateful.

    Yours sincerely
    Warren Field

Hi there, it depends. If the theme has been retired from our Theme Showcase, it won’t be possible to return to your previous theme.

Looking at your above WordPress.com site in the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine, I see you were using Visual, https://visualdemo.wordpress.com/ which has been retired.

Or do you mean you want to activate the theme Twenty-Fourteen or Twenty-Fifteen? Both of those themes are still available to activate.

When you say a “content list” do you mean you want to display your blog posts on the site’s front page? If so, you can change the setting to display recent posts in Settings>Reading Settings. Or I believe you can also do this in Homepage Settings in the Customizer on the Sketch theme, which is what you’re currently using.

If I’ve missed the mark, please post back here with more details.
