Reverting to classic editor
-
With how block editing has now changed classic editing to be even more inconvenient by forcing us to edit in an even smaller box, is there no way to revert this change? I do not want to spend a ridiculous amount of money just to use a free plugin that reverses this useless change they made. And I need to pay to get actual support from the official team? Please tell me there’s a solution or am I forced to just continue dealing with the continuous bad changes that the WordPress team continues to make to their system?

The system of using blocks for editing websites is widely spread. Every modern page builder e.g. elementor, beaver builder, … use a block system.
You must be aware the classic editor isn’t always compatible with recent themes. So even though the Classic Editor is still available, it is not recommended.

That’s the thing. What if my purpose for using the site isn’t for some fancy web-designing? My only purpose here is to just write and release novel chapters, so I originally came here 8 years ago because I appreciated the UI being user-friendly and not too different from using things like Google Docs or Microsoft Word. But now WordPress has changed the system so much that it’s become a genuine nuisance to use. Like the image I just posted. I followed that classic version guide, and that’s what I get? It literally doesn’t even stretch to fit the entire thing. It’s the same exact tiny size that I get when trying to use the “classic version” block in the normal mode. What is the point of changing how the classic version works if you’re going to keep changing it to not even be like the classic version?
