Reverting to Classic Editor isn’t working
-
I know this has been asked a lot before, but I have an 11-year-old WordPress.com site and I am stuck on the Block Editor. All the fixes people have suggested aren’t working; there’s no option when I click the three dots on the right to go back to Classic Editor., and the way WordPress help says to revert back isn’t working either. Please help! Thanks.

Hi there,
We are retiring the classic editor from the WordPress.com dashboard, but you can still use the features of the classic editor through the classic editor block:
https://wordpress.com/support/editors/#classic-editor
Here is our recent article explaining the move:
You can still visit the wp-admin dashboard (http://example.wordpress.com/wp-admin/) and use the classic editor there:
https://wordpress.com/support/editors/#classic-editor
We also have information on transitioning to the Block Editor, and Frequently Asked Questions.
Hope this helps.

Darnell,
Thank you very much for that info, I seem to be able to now do most functions that I did on Classic Editor. One thing I absolutely cannot figure out in the new Block Editor system, though, is how to reduce the size of media (photos) that I add in the Block editor system. In classic I had an option once I imported the photos; how can I shrink/reduce photos in this new Editor version?
Thanks.

Hi Michael,
Do you mean when adding it via the image block? Once the image is inserted, click on it, and you should see controls on the side and bottom of the image that you can drag to resize:
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/image-block/#resizing-images
The block settings panel on the right will also show some presets, and custom size fields where you can manually type in a height and width of the image.
