Reverting to old editor

    Hello.
    Today I had the brilliant idea of switching to the new editor with blocks.
    And when I try to add either new pages or posts, the screen is blank.
    I know the editor works on my machine because I’m editing pages for someone else on a different site.

    My blog is private for now, until I’m ready to re-launch it.
    Please help me revert to the old editor.

    If you switch back to the classic editor do things appear as they should?

    If things look good with the classic editor and when you switch to the block editor and things break, I’d crosscheck the plugins used. Especially if you know that the block editor works out for you on another website.

    To switch to the classic editor, click on the ‘. . .’ settings icon in the upper right corner of the editing screen.

    Then, click on Switch to Classic Editor.

    I haven’t seen that option till now. I guess I need to peel my eyes open next time.

    The classic editor appears and works just fine :D
