Reverting to original theme

    Hi there, I’d like to completely revert the site to its original wordpress theme, without any template. How can I do that?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Every site on WordPress.com uses a template.

    Currently I see your above site uses Twenty Twenty-Three. If you used a different theme previously, you might see it mentioned in your Jetpack Activity Log. Learn more here:

    Activity shows a full list of activities and events that have occurred on your site. Free plans are limited to viewing only the past 20 events, whereas WordPress.com paid plans have access to their complete site activity. Type of Activities Recorded The events stored in your site’s Activity include: Published or updated posts and pages. Comment submission and management activity.

    If you want to start with a “blank” template, head to your site’s Appearance>Themes and scroll down until you see “Design Your Own” and click the get started button. You can then add various patterns and template parts.

    Hi there!

    You can revert templates back to their theme default by following this:

    1. Click My Site → Appearance → Editor
    2. In the Site Editor, click Templates → Manage all templates.
    3. Click the three dots next to the template name and click Clear customizations. Here’s a screenshot:

    Once you’ve done that, those templates will revert to their theme default.
