Reverting to wordpress.com
-
I moved my site over to wordpress.org hosted by Bluehost. Bluehost increased my hosting fee beyond what I am willing to pay. I would like to move back to wordpress.com and have a free site. Is this possible? / How would I go about it?

Hi.
Yes, you can move your WordPress self-hosted site back to WordPress.com, as long as you are still using a WordPress.com theme and are not using any plugins. (Plugins won’t work on WordPress.com).
Here’s an article that outlines how to move from self-hosted to WordPress.com.

If you want to continue to use your domain name, journeytoalpinism.com, for your website, then you’ll need to purchase the personal plan, which allows custom domain names. You can read about the plans at https://wordpress.com/pricing/.
Hope this helps!
