Review of Satire site needed

Hello,
I recently started a satire blog that deals with mainly politics, but also dabbles in entertainment and Business. I am having a hard time gaining an audience. I think my material is good, but the widgets generally don’t gain followers (Facebook, Twitter). Is the layout of the site something that needs to be worked on? Or is the content simply lacking? Keep in mind this site has been running since early December. Looking for any strategies for gaining an audience.
Any feedback would be appreciated :)
