revised sticky posts no longer sticky
-
Hi, I am using the oxygen theme and have just replaced and updated the pictures on a couple of old posts and although the posts are still set to sticky they are no longer showing up in the slider. Any advice?
thanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

On Oxygen, a sticky post won’t show in the slider if its featured image is narrower than 750px.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. The pictures are the same I have just added a watermark to them. So they are the same pictures I was using previously, which were fine, just with a watermark added in photoshop. So the width hasn’t changed on them.

Sorry, I can’t be clearer! The slider on Oxygen requires FIs that are at least 750px wide. The FIs of your latest three stickies are narrower (596, 301, 301).
Since you have deleted the previously used FIs from your media library, and they aren’t cached either, I have no way of proving to you that those files must have been different. (If you still have them in your computer, without having tampered with them after uploading them, and you’re curious to check them, the filenames were 0131117-204942.jpg, img_0054.jpg, dsc_0694.jpg.) -
Hi! I had the same problem that Louisedransfield mentioned, I tried changing the size and it worked for me. Thank you Justpi !
I checked the documentation in the author’s page and thought it had something to do with the fact I can’t see this “location” menu under the “featured image” but just changing the size worked just fine. -
Hi, thanks for all the advice it was really helpful and my problem has now been resolved.

You’re both welcome!
@anamii: What you checked applies to self-hosted sites. Once a theme is adopted and adapted by wordpress.com, its original author has nothing to do with the version we use (which can be different). On the wordpress.com version of Oxygen there’s no “location” menu.
The instructions that apply to us are found here:
