Revision feature
-
Hi, I have a particular feature I’m trying to customize and I’m not sure if there a plugin for this. Here’s a description
specific function is sort of a way to curate the content and be able to continuously edit and track every revision made to the document before it is published.
Since the content will need to undergo continuous change or improvement there will be a need for tracking revisions and changes to the document, the content is sort of peer review by multiple administrators before the content is finalized for publication.
Even when it is ready for publication, an approval is needed for publish the article.
To summarize
Feature 1: Customize content with continuous change and track every revision made, so you have version control
Feature 2: when the content is ready for publication, it needs to have approval, so this is like a security feature

Hi there!
First, please note that we can only provide support for WordPress.com sites only. If your site is self-hosted WordPress.org (using the WordPress.org software and hosted by a different hosting service provider), the WordPress.org support forum is a better destination to post this.
There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about the differences, please check the following article that details the differences: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org
Second, WordPress.com sites have a built-in revision history. You can learn more about it here: https://wordpress.com/support/editors/page-post-revisions/
Finally, if you create a new post under the Contributor role, it will always be pending approval from an editor or administrator before the post can be published. You can learn more about the user roles here: https://wordpress.com/support/user-roles/#list-of-user-roles
Hope that helps!
