Revision Feature Vanished

    Hi there, I’ve got a mystery I’d like to check and see if someone might be familiar with this problem.

    I just finished checking 20 WordPress websites and all current on updates just as the two above, the two websites above are missing the “Revision Feature” that is standard with WordPress for all pages/posts/products. It’s vanished from the “Publish” Box” in the upper-right. And it’s vanished from the “Screen Options” at the top of the screen.

    Here’ s a list of what I’ve done so far:

    1 ) I’ve used Google Dev Tools to check the code and see if it was removed with CSS. It’s disappeared complete from the code.

    2 ) I’ve systematically turned-off all 14 Plugins and turned-them-on again one-at-a-time to see if a plugin was interfereing. The Revision Feature did not return.

    3 ) I checked the wp-config and .htacess files to look for code that could have disabled the “Revision Feature” but found no such code.

    I’m at a loss.

    The only commonality with both websites is a service called Identiwrite, which manages the content for both, particularly creating a regular supply of posts for both websites.

    I’ve reached out to them to double-check their stuff…but it’s not one of their plugins because already took that step to check.

    Does anyone have ANY idea what could be causing that feature to Vanish?

    I’m at a complete loss.

    ..checked wp-config and .htacess files..

    Your websites do not look like they are hosted on WordPress.com.
    We’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.

    To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    You might check in with your host to see if there’s an error log you could look at for more information. Or, you could look in this forum; perhaps someone there has experienced something similar:
