Revisions?

I was messing around with the ‘Flatsome’ function and it reconfigured my whole website. I did a lot of work to get what I had, but I can’t find a way to recover it. There is supposed to be a ‘Revision’ tab in the Post tab that I read about, but it isn’t there. Are you able to help me recover my website that the Flatsome function changed?

  • Hi,

It looks like your site is using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but is hosted with another webhost.

We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us here at WordPress.com. For help with a WordPress site hosted elsewhere you’ll need to ask over at the WordPress.org forums.

Depending on the level of support that is included with your hosting plan, your webhost’s support team may also be able to assist.

If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the open-source WordPress software you can read this article.

    However…

Allow me to use this opportunity to say that if you WERE hosted here at WordPress.com, you would have access to 24/7 WordPress specific assistance from a world-class support team. Our automated backups would give you a chance to roll back your site any time something like this happens.

If you prefer to stay with your current host, you might consider looking into Jetpack’s VaultPress backup service:
