Revisions History

My revisions option disappeared. I need to go back to an earlier version of the post, but no revisions settings available when I click published as suggested by ‘help.’

Hi there!
You can see your post’s revisions editing your post, on the right bar, at Publish widget.
Let me know if you need more help.
Regards.

Hummm, did you try the wp-admin?
Please, try access your posts by the link below:

Yep tried that, and I also went to screen options to check the revisions box, but there was no box to check for revisions.

Hey tomagram,
I noticed that the Revisions button doesn’t appear until the page/post has been modified at least once. That being said, maybe quickly check your pages/posts to see if you have a duplicate page somehow.
Another thing to try is to pull it up on the centralized editor and see if it appears:

Hope this helps!

Thanks Tyler, but unfortunately, the revisions option doesn’t show on any posts or pages now. And the example in the link does not look like my dashboard option.

Shoot. Make sure you’re an Administrator, Editor or Author of that blog post. Maybe your user settings changed somehow.

Hi tomagram – you’ve posted your question in the forums for sites hosted by WordPressdotcom. It looks like your above site at tallcloverfarm.com is using the standalone WP software.
Help for self-hosted sites using the standalone WP software can be found over at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page and at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you can register one on that page.
Standalone WP and WordPressdotcom are separate entities; more information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Thanks Jennifer, I’ll check that out. Thanks everyone for getting me headed in the right direction. Most appreciated. Tom
