Revolution Slider plug-in issue

I am a web developer working on a redesign of an intranet, transitioning from SharePoint to WordPress. The client wants to begin with only their homepage in WordPress—linking to the existing SharePoint site while they work on refreshing content before creating WordPress pages/posts for their secondary intranet pages. They do not want any secondary WordPress pages at this point, only direct links to their existing SharePoint pages. The new WordPress homepage design includes the Revolution Slider plug-in, and the client wants each slide to have a different photo and to link directly to a page on their SharePoint site (a different link for each slide). I am using gallery as the media source, but the image has become full screen and I cannot figure out how to size the photo (so that I can add a title and text in white space next to the photo) in the slider plug-in. Anyone run into this type of design before and know how to size the image in order to allow for title and text, while also allowing for direct link to non-WordPress site?
