revolving gravatar images

I clicked on a commenter’s hovercard earlier on today (someone I know) and then through her link to her own blog, and then when I clicked back to my blog, all the gravatar images in my comments – including my own, and the gravatar images of the person in her own hovercard – started revolving clockwise. It was very weird. I tried to replicate what I’d done but it didn’t happen again. Has something been changed to make it do this, if so, what’s it supposed to achieve? And if not -does anyone have any ideas of what happened and why? Thanks.

Hey ladies and gentlemen. I run a website but this is my first time blogging seriously. I have issues I can’t understand even after looking at the menu. How do I increase my font size? How do I get my image (avatar?) like you have besides you comments. I can;t understand the instructions or maybe they don’t work, or do work from a certain point. I need step by step instructions….do be kind to show me

No, ‘Surprise Me’ is unchecked as usual.
Aren’t revolving icons actually .gif graphics (or maybe flash)? In which case they’d be there deliberately I’d have thought.
