    in my purchases section the only item to renew (which I think I’ve now done twice by accident) is to renew the Google Workspace Business Starter … There is NO option to renew my Domain? Help please.

    It appears that your domain expired a month ago and is currently in redemption, which is why you’re unable to see the option to renew it. However, don’t worry; I can still assist you in recovering your domain. Please note that there is an $80 fee associated with restoring a domain from redemption.     Regarding your Google Workspace renewal, I’ve noticed that it was indeed renewed twice. To correct this, I’ve gone ahead and issued a refund for the second renewal, and I’ve also adjusted the expiration date accordingly.

    yes please. I never received email confirmations about my domain expiring – that’s where this all went wrong!

    i have seen the emails now. sadly i very rarely use the email address (email visible only to moderators and staff) anymore.

    in reality it is only live as I cannot change the email address for wordpress to (email visible only to moderators and staff) … and so I missed the expirey notices.

    is it possible to change the email address to (email visible only to moderators and staff) – or maybe not because it’s on the domain?

    I’ve not had any business emails since 7 April for this reason … and I had no idea as it was Easter weekend and I was away.

    what would be your advice to change the email? I otherwise have a personal email address – (email visible only to moderators and staff) … maybe that would be better?

    I wouldn’t recommend using a custom email address for these instances (domain contact details and an account) as should anything happen to underlining domain as it has done, things get just that little bit more complicated. :)

    Yes please immediately. I cannot operate my business until this is live.

    Please can you give me an indication of time it will take to be live? And do I pay via purchases section in the backend/account settings of wordpress?

    Thank you for making the payment. That went through and in fact, the domain returned almost instantly. So you will now find it in your account again.

    If you want to set it as the primary domain on captarphoto.wordpress.com again then the site would need a new paid plan. Any plan would do. These can be found here – https://wordpress.com/plans/captarphoto.wordpress.com

    Once this is done, the domain could be set as the primary domain again like this – https://wordpress.com/support/domains/set-a-primary-address/

    It’s unlikely, however, the senders would have got a bounce back, and so it may be worth checking on any latest contacts you have connected with.

    I understand the frustration. However, there’s nothing we (or anyone) in this case.

    To provide more context — given that your domain expired a month ago, it was unavailable. Since any email service requires an operational email to distribute emails, it couldn’t work either.

    In this case, people trying to email you would have received an email-bounce notification. To learn more about the bounced email, please refer to this link: https://postmarkapp.com/guides/email-bounces.

    Generally, the sender’s email server will try to deliver their email 3x to you, and will stop trying afterward.

    These emails are not stored anywhere apart from their “Outbox” or “Sent” folders, and this is why we suggested reaching out to anyone you know that might’ve tried emailing you.

    Alternatively, you can put an announcement on your site about the email being unavailable for that specific period of time, and ask them to try emailing you again.

    thanks, its a shame. I didn’t see the notifications to renew. My site went offline on 7th April and came back yesterday, 13th April. I have no idea if anyone was trying to email me? One client got in touch via text but that was it. If any new clients were trying they would have moved on… And I don’t have their contact details as they would be unknown to me.
