Rewrite Rules

  I need to use same rewrite rules for two post types. For example, I have two post types named “books” and “gallery” so it’s post type will come in URL but I am not using post type in URL. I need URL for the book like “http://example.com/my-first-book/” and for the gallery like “http://example.com/my-first-galery/”.

  Is there anyone to help me for this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Is alwblogblog.wordpress.com. the site you need help with?

  If you’re using custom post types, it sounds like you might be using a self-hosted version of WordPress.

  These forums only provide support for sites hosted here at WordPress.com. It’s not possible to change the rewrite rules for permalinks for sites hosted here.

  If you need help with a self-hosted site, please create a thread at the WordPress.org support forums.
