I wonder if you will check out my slideshow coding, please, Rich ?
Of late – and of course I have no idea precisely when in terms of which theme ! – it seems to have made the images chosen go transparent too. Meaning that the b.g. is deliberately so; but they’re not meant to be.

I’ll be down in Victoria all day tomorrow; so I shan’t respond to you unless it’s very early in my morning. Only the gods know when that will be at your end; I certainly don’t ! But I do not wish you to think me ungrateful should you reply and I don’t follow up.

Your sidebar slideshow images are appearing fine for me and not transparent. Is that the one you are talking about?

Both sidebar and footer, Rich: I keep seeing the left, stop and right arrows at the bottom, interfering with viewing because they’re so small …
But if you don’t see that, there ain’t nuthin to be done.

We can possibly move those down below the slideshow. Would that work for you?

Wait, change the second one to this instead so they remain visible.
