Rich … I really need some intelligent input, please !

You made me use Google Translate, which REALLY confused it given half was in French and half in Italian. :)

I have decided that I DO want to have the vertical line that separates the content from the sidebar continue almost to the bottom, please, Rich: having reduced the sizes of my image icons so that I COULD use your
article { margin-left: 4% !important; }and did so – THANK YOU VERY MUCH ! – it would look great to have the vertical all the way down.
Please, then, may I have the coding for that ? – using what you gave me for ‘Newsy’ doesn’t work. Oeuf course. :-} -
Using dashed lines for the borders between the content and sidebar is a problem as the origin for the two seems to be slightly different, which makes the dashed lines where they overlay each other appear weird. You can see that by adding the following CSS. I’ve used a media query to limit this to 960px and wider as 959px is when the sidebar moves below the content.
@media screen and (min-width: 960px) { .two_third { border-right: 1px dashed #c9baa3; margin-right: 0; padding-right: 3.9%; width: 70.32%; position: relative; z-index: 1; left: 1px; } } -
I see what you mean; but you are looking at it as an expert, and I am looking at it as an obsessive … and I doubt VERY MUCH that anyone who doesn’t fit either category is going to give a shit (or, in fact, notice !).
[grin]
I am yet further indebted to you, RS … gives me much pleasure to be so. -

NOW I see exactly what you mean: not the way the dashed line changes, but this extra short line.
I meant to mention to you before, Rich, that the two-thirds and one-third thing appears to be contained within the content area.
Sighh …
I have to decide, now … -
Decided. Removed the full-length vertical. Too many strange little lines appearing on that 2/3 of the content – as you pointed out.
Weird, huh ?
Hokayyyy … Ready for the next one ?
What css do I use to make any image within the content area – around which I’ve put a plain border – show the border as dotted, please, Rich ?
I know it’s
border-style: dotted;
but I don’t know how to make that universal … -
I gave up, Rich: too many readers telling me things like they have to press buttons several times.
I HATE that; my obsessive nature will not allow my blog to be not fully functional.
Oh well. Sighh …
Onwards and upwards, my dear – and already I have some questions I shall put re this new theme …
Later. Be happy. -
MR, is this what you are looking for?
.entry img { border: 1px dotted #CC0000; }Or did you want it dashed instead of dotted (dotted doesn’t show up too well as the dots are very small)?
.entry img { border: 1px dashed #CC0000; } -
AArghhh ! I closed this one down, Rich my dear ! – did I not even say so ?
Can anyone be as rude as I am ?
(Please don’t reply ….?)
