Rich ? – Isca header
-
I haven’t activated it yet, because I won’t use it unless you tell me that we CAN increase the header size.
Currently 946 X 150 (a totally ludicrous height !), I’m wondering if it can be enlarged to 946 X 300, please …?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Good grief! Maybe you need to hire someone to play CSS games with you every day Margaret Rose. lol :D

From my testing, it appears like you can use taller headers (flexible header image feature). When you go to insert the header, when it gives you the opportunity to crop it, just pull the handle on the bottom center down to the bottom of the image area and then click “crop”.

If I had $10,000 to spare, I would do so.
I’m deeply sorry for trying your patience.
I’ll endeavour not to do so again, I promise.
Thank you for the last bit of help, there. -
You are most welcome. The header function seems a little finicky. I tried doing the “use as is” but it still cropped it. When I pulled the handle down to the bottom of the image and said, crop, then it worked.

@M.R. I don’t think @timethief meant anything negative by her comment, so don’t worry about asking CSS questions here. I’m glad to help out.

Yes Rich you know me well. No I didn’t mean anything negative at all. I was just teasing. Note the :D was posted above because I was laughing. And I was laughing because it’s endearing to see how eager Margaret Rose is to learn new things.

I was so utterly taken aback by that post that I didn’t even take the time to notice that it was from someone else: I’m totally unused to having other people coming in to my endless grillings of Rich and saying anything – why would they …?
And so in my haste to disappear, covered in shame and embarrassment, I did just that – disappeared.
I kept thinking “That’s so unlike Rich !”; but when he responded, I merely thanked him and made a mental vow to stay disappeared.
Serves me right for having been so hasty: but I’m a timid old fart in truth, and I don’t want to offend anyone – let alone my hero.
So there’s a lesson learned here, indeed. A couple, in fact.
(1) READ EVERYTHING FIRST
(2) Trust Rich. -
