ridiculous business

Word Press, a business that makes it impossible to contact them. I need to get some questions answered, but there is no way to contact anybody. There is this ‘post to the forum’ and that’s it. How do you manage things about your account? Or anything?

There is no phone support but the support docs at http://support.wordpress.com are easy to find and there are links to them all over this site, for example, look at both the top and the bottom of this page. There is also a Help link on your Admin pages on the top right-hand corner if you have registered a site.

For all the support options when you have technical support issues
    see https://en.support.wordpress.com/help-support-options/

If you have a paid upgrade, please use the “Contact Support” form, http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ where you will receive a choice of having staff answer your question publicly or privately. See here Live Chat Support https://en.support.wordpress.com/live-chat/

    re: direct email support
Also note, that you can email Staff at:
    support@wordpress.com
    or
    help@wordpress.com

This is a useless, worthless answer. The real answer appears to be that unless you have paid additional, there is no support. We had a word press blog connected to our web site. The consultant for it got fired, and is not wanting to yield the log in on it. Etc. So, some forum answer or FAQ is not going to help. But, essentially, Word Press has put out a pair of shoes that, if messed up, you have no store, no person to contact. Nothing. Man, I wish I could sell a product like that. Hey mack, you got a problem? Ha, no way to contact us!

Thanks so much for your well thought out non-emotional and cogent feedback. I’m a Volunteer who has answered questions here for nearly 10 years. I predate the support docs and what I posted is correct. Please feel free to email Staff at the links I provided above.

We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites and your will want to be sure that the site you refer to is among them because wordpress.COM Staff help only with wordpress.COM issues. Our support docs do not apply to
    (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
    (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.

Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin.

Hopefully, you are not posting to the wrong support forum.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Ifs you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
    Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

NO, this is the word press the “expired” notice now displaying on the web site directed us to.

I am sorry, you work for a company that cares nothing about it’s customers, only about how it can avoid talking to them or dealing with them, in order to save money. Meaning, they did not charge enough for their service to ACTUALLY provide a product. And serve a customer. As also demonstrated by having a volunteer help customers. It is not your doing, but unless someone speaks up, they will continue thinking they are doing a wonderful job. How much you want to bet it takes days to hear back from an email inquiry?
