Ridiculous that WP has "interrupted" its contact form

  This message makes absolutely no sense.

  “Pardon the interruption while we work on some contact form updates. We’ll be back soon!

  The WordPress.com Forums are still available for general questions and help”

  It takes five minutes to update a contact form, and if it takes longer, then you have to figure out a provisional form in the meantime. Why are these people messing with us?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Could be a broken backend, could have been targeted by a spammer. Who are “these people” and in what way are they messing with you?

  I’ve been traying to contact them for more that 24 hours. I need to cancel my account before the 48 hours.

  You can’t cancel an ACCOUNT anyway. Posting in the forum at a certain time establishes you attempted to contact them during the outage, so I wouldn’t worry. Staff don’t penalize you for them being offline.

  Also, a word to the wise: NEVER buy an upgrade on a long weekend. NEVER. From ANY service.
