right column menu is gone…arrow to scroll to past posts is gone

  • Unknown's avatar

In the last couple of weeks, my right column menu with the categories and such (the only menu on my site!) has been half there and has finally disappeared altogether. My arrow at the bottom to scroll back to older posts is gone. All that viewers see is page one of posts…no way to navigate anywhere else

I have not done anything differently than I have been doing for the last year. I type text. I post pictures. I respond to comments. Nothing fancy.

Help! I am kind of “plug and play” with this blog. Putting an image on the header was a big project for me :)

Do you think that changing themes would help? I am using stock theme “WordPress Default 1.6”. If I should change themes, can someone recommend one that views properly in all browsers?? My current theme displays poorly for many IE users. It’ll flush left (poorly) when it’s supposed to be centered. And, photos will view as their actual size rather than sized properly for the entry. The bigger pictures will push everything out of whack. Once again, these problems only occur in many versions of IE.

I build in Safari. Always have, so dont see this as the problem.

    My blog is blog.littlebluedog.org

You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.

This support forum is for WordPress.com hosted blogs only. If you have a self-hosted WordPress blog you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums, not here.

If you don’t understand the difference, you may find this information helpful.

So, is there a way to switch from the .org version to the .com version and keep my past posts/feedback intact? Or would I be starting from scratch if I moved to the .com version?

Do the .com version themes display properly in IE? Or do they have the same display problems as the .org themes?

    Thanks
