Right Side Bar

Please help! I can’t find how to activate my right side bar (& widgets) on the Miss Cakehead blog. Want to appear on all pages with the exception of the gallery page.

Hi there, did you manage to get this sorted out? I’m seeing your right sidebar with widgets now.
Just let me know if you need further help.

Hmm – I’m seeing your widgets on the About page:

Which is your News page, could you provide a link to that, as well as to your Gallery?
You may want to see if the Widget Visibility feature could work to exclude your widgets from the Gallery.

Oh sorry it’s Miss Cakehead that is not working…. http://www.misscakehead.wordpress.com x

Hi Emma, I took a look at your Miss Cakehead site for you. I see that on the About page, you are using the Full Width page template. This will remove the sidebar from the page.
To add the sidebar back, you can edit the About page (by going to Pages in your dashboard). In the page editor, under Template in the Page Attributes module on the right, you can select “Default Template.” Then, you can go to Appearance > Widgets in your dashboard — any widgets that you add to the Page Sidebar section will appear in the sidebar on that page.
Make sure that you are using the default page template for any pages where you want to see the sidebar. If you have any questions about this, please let us know!
