Right side of my Blog Clutter

  I am rebuilding my Blog http://thesands.wordpress.com, and mostly want a clean non clutter look.

  1. How do I remove the search box?
  2. How do I remove the Calendar?
  3. How do I remove the Archives?
  4. How do I remove the Metas?

  Those are the default widgets that are added automatically if you don’t put any there yourself. Simply go to Appearance > Widgets and drag an empty text widget into your sidebar or whatever else you desire.

  I can see how to add widgets, but how do I remove things from my side bar. For example, If I want to REMOVE the Calender, or Archives, how do I do that?

  Sorry, I should have told you that all the default widgets are removed when you start adding your own, so if you want nothing there, the best thing is to add an empty text widget.
