Ah, then it can be done quite easily.
Create a page to be used as your main page. In the “attributes” module in the page editor, select “full-width” from the page template pulldown and publish the page.
If you do not want comments enabled, on your pages, go to settings > discussion and turn off comments and trackbacks and save. On existing published pages, you will have to turn them off individually. You can do that by going to pages > all pages and use the quick edit feature and turn comments off quickly on the other pages.
Now go to settings > reading and set that page you created as your static home page (no need to select a “posts” page) and save.
Visit your site and you will see that your main page now has no sidebar. Do that with the rest of your pages as well (select full-width in the attributes module in the page editor).

Thanks a lot! It worked!!
I have another question please.
I created an ‘About’ page as a parent page and 3 other pages as sub-categories. Is there a way to make the ‘About’ page just a title (because I don’t want to enter any info on this page) where you cannot click on it?The URL is http://6sigmafc.wordpress.com/

First you need to create and load a custom menu in place of the default menu of the theme. Instructions here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
(By the way, if you used a custom menu from the start, you could have created the dropdowns without having to turn those pages into child pages.)For the non-linking tab, you’ll need to add a custom link to the menu instead of your About page. see here:

You’re welcome!
Note: You used the solution suggested in the support doc on custom menus, which gives you a # in the address bar of the browser. The alternative solution I linked to gives no such thing. -
