Right Sidebar showing twice on Baskerville 2
-
I am using the Baskerville 2 template. But on the individual posts, the right sidebar is repeated twice.
How can fix it – delete one.
I don’t see an option for changing right sidebar widgets – only see options for customizing the footer.
Can you advise?
Thank you,

Hi Sonia,
You should be able to remove the unwanted widgets at Customize > Widgets > Sidebar. Do you still not find the Sidebar section there? A widget is removed as described in the Removing Widgets section of the Widgets support page.

Since Baskerville 2 has only one optional sidebar widget area, any extra widgets in the sidebar would have to be in that single widget area.

Thank you so much for your quick reply. Yes, I am aware that Baskerville 2 only has one sidebar widget area. This was a glitch – somehow the sidebar was showing twice. But, on the widget customization area, there is not an option to adjust the right sidebar.
I did manage to fix the problem, by: 1. Changing the Theme to a different Theme with an option to customize the sidebar; 2. Deleted the duplicated information; 3. Changed back to Baskerville.
Now it is displaying correctly.
I’m not sure how/why the problem occurred, but the trick to change to a different Theme seems to have fixed the problem. Now, the only issue is if I do want to make any additional changes to the right sidebar, it looks like I will have to do the same. Change to a different theme and then back to Baskerville…
